Dan is a really knowledgable industry pro who knows his audience. He teaches in an engaging way that helps to break down the complexity barriers present for a newcomer. He organized the course as well as he could considering part of his audience is totally new. Tons of good resources and you can tell he only recommends if he has experience with it and finds utility with a resource, he doesn't just dump a ton of resources and leave you to blindly navigate. I am doing this course as a self imposed pre-requisite for his UX design for Adobe XD, and I think it was perfect. A few more exercises to get hands on would help, but that is tough considering this is a concept only course. If you are curious about UX or want to find out if its a career/job field you want to get into, this course is really well suited to help make an informed decision about that. I am off to do his UX with XD now!

UX design is creating products, most commonly apps and websites, that are easy to use, please the end user and look great. It’s understanding what the target user needs and how they get what they want. It’s how they interact with the information and how they navigate your design. The reason there’s so much demand for UX designers is that not a lot of graphic designers truly understand what’s involved. It’s more than slick graphics!
